METAL AGE PRODUCTIONS
The Welsh Death Metal bastards are back and "CEMETERY SICKNESS" is what they
have delivered us. It is the bands seventh full length to date and by far their best. These
guys started back in the mid '90's and have embraced the '90's Death Metal sound and
carried it into the present day. If there were a band I had to pick that fully portrays that
sound today, DESECRATION would definitely be one of them. These guys have a great
blend of European and Floridian Death Metal sound. The music is unrelenting mayhem
from start to finish. Their sound has a very tight, blasting and catchy riffs all through out.
I felt like I was back in the midst of all the madness of the glory days of Death Metal
music. The drumming is so fast and thunderous that it pounds into your brain and never
lets up. It's some of the best drumming I have heard in a Death Metal band in a long time.
The vocals are done in a mid ranged thick Death growl style with some groggy Death
growls accompanying them They are like a heavier version of OBITUARY, PUNGENT
STENCH, BROKEN HOPE, AUTOPSY, DEADEN, REGURGITATION &
CANNIBAL CORPSE all put together, but with better written songs, better played
music and a bit more groove. I have been a fan of DESECRATION for many years now,
but they have really up their game on this release and have blown away their already
amazing back catalog of releases. I highly, highly recommend every Death Metal fan to
get as many DESECRATION releases into their collection and play them as loud and as
often as they can. By far one of the best and most underrated Death Metal bands in the
underground scene today!
