GHOUL
"INTERMEDIATE LEVEL HARD-CORE"
TANKCRIMES RECORDS

The butchers from Creepsylvania are back with their newest offering "INTERMEDIATE
LEVEL HARD-CORE", which is all cover songs.
GHOUL has been tearing up the
underground scene since 2001 and show no signs of stopping the blood bath. These guys
hail from California and play a killer Crossover style of Thrash / Hardcore music. Their
sound is that of the original Crossover style that started back in the '80's. These guys have
a really cool Hardcore rhythm and groove, but is laced with Thrash Metal percussion and
shredding guitars. The music has that raw and crusty Crossover sound and reminds me of a
more Metal version of the great
D.R.I. As I kept listening to these guys I kept seeing the
D.R.I. mosh man logo in my head and kept thinking of the "CROSSOVER" & "FOUR OF
A KIND" albums. I also kept seeing Martha Splatterhead form
THE ACCUSED album
covers. I have been a huge fan of these guys for a long time and even interviewed them in
my webzine for their first full length. I would have thought these guys would have been a
much bigger name in the Metal underground scene by now, but it's good to see they are
getting some of the recognition they deserve. The band features some members of the great
IMPALED. They do a very cool cover of the GWAR (my favorite band) song
"AMERICANIZED" and it even features Oderus Urungus on guest vocals! The other
bands covered here are
FEARLESS IRANIANS FROM HELL, WILLFUL NEGLECT,
N.O.T.A.
& DAYGLOW ABORTIONS. Long live GHOUL!
