| I'M NOT THAT FAMILIAR WITH LAND OF HATE, SO COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE SOME OF THE BANDS HISTORY? Sure! The LAND OF HATE are born from the need to give free vent of opposition against the social system, hurling itself against with violence & rage! In 2005, our first E.P. "TOTAL DEVASTATION" was distributed in Poland, Philippines, Russia, Brazil, Germany. In the end of 2006 the LAND OF HATE are again in study, just in the SOUND FARM STUDY of GLK (GLACIAL FEAR) for record a successor of "TOTAL DEVASTATION". "GENER(H)ATE", a MCD composed of five tracks of Thrash/Death Metal violent & without compromises! "GENER(H)ATE" will be stamped & distributed by INFERNAL KAOS PRODUCTIONS (Asia, South America, North America, Eastern Europe) than probably will produce also the next work for the band. "GENER(H)ATE" will be stamped & distributed also by NELLY RECORDS (Italy & foreign country). |

| HOW DID YOU GUYS GET TOGETHER? ANY PREVIOUS BANDS MEMBERS WERE IN BEFORE? So, the original line up was born in Catanzaro on 2005 & it's composed of four elements: Marko (voice), Niko (guitar), Ifilien (bass) & Attila (drums). After a short time to "TOTAL DEVASTATION", Saso (guitar) went into the band. The previous bands are : NO CORRUPTION (Marko & Saso), SCHIZOFRENIA (Niko & Attila). WHY WAS THE NAME LAND OF HATE CHOSEN AS THE BANDS NAME? LAND OF HATE is our land. If you look around you can see more war, abuses, oppression, bloodshed, is this hell! Also we live in South of Italy, Calabria & this is not good country for live a quiet life. This is the reason of the namd: LAND OF HATE! |
| WHO OR WHAT HAS HAD SOME INFLUENCE ON YOU IN CREATING YOUR MUSIC? We play old school Thrash/Death Metal. We don't want to create anything new musically. We love to play old school music! HOW WOULD YOU BEST DESCRIBE THE STYLE & SOUND OF LAND OF HATE? Good question, eh, eh... Our music is aggressive immediate. No great arrangements, it's Thrash Death in your face. You understand? Street music, eh, eh... |

| YOUR MCD "GENER(H)ATE" HAS BEEN OUT FOR A LITTLE BIT NOW. HOW HAS IT BEEN DOING IN THE UNDERGROUND SCENE? "GENER(H)ATE" fortunately was considered good for many webzines & zines, especially from many Metalheads & this is an honour for me & for my band. WHAT IS SOME OF THE LYRICAL CONTENT OF YOUR SONGS? WHO WRITES THE LYRICS & MUSIC IN YOUR BAND? |
| The lyrics speak about opposition against the social system, hurling itself against with violence & rage. I write the lyrics for the music is different. All members of the band write the music. We are a family & we colaborate for the creation of all our songs. |

| CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE COVER ARTWORK A BIT & IT'S MEANING? Sure, the artwork was created by Ifilien, our bass man. This cover represents our LAND OF HATE. The image encloses the war, religion, death & many blood on the pillars of cathedral. This cathedral is our land of hate. YOU JUST SIGNED A DEAL WITH INFERNAL KAOS PRODUCTIONS. CAN YOU TELL US WHAT THIS DEAL IS & HOW YOU GOT HOOKED UP WITH THEM? INFERNAL KAOS PRODUCTIONS is a label of Jeff Hann. He is a maniac of old school Metal & a serious person. INFERNAL KAOS have a good distribution (Asia, South America, Europe) & it stamped & distributed "GENER(H)ATE". They have not asked for money & this is fundamental for an underground Metal band. |
| HOW DO YOU FEEL THE BAND HAS PROGRESSED OR CHANGED SINCE YOUR DEBUT E.P. "TOTAL DEVASTATION"? "TOTAL DEVASTATION" was the first experiment, it was immature, very immediately & ignorance Thrash. We composed this E.P. in 4 months. "GENER(H)ATE" is a mature work compared to our first E.P. CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR SPLIT DVD RELEASE WITH THE BAND ZORA? ZORA are our great friends, we have many dates with this guys. LAND OF HATE & ZORA scream the message. This is the reason of this video split. |

| ARE THERE ANY NEW SONGS IN THE WORKS FOR ANOTHER RELEASE? Yeah, The release is coming soon. We have have many songs for the full length. ARE YOU INTO ANY OTHER STYLES OF MUSIC BESIDES WHAT YOU PLAY? WHO HAVE YOU CURRENTLY BEEN LISTENING TO? In the band the members listen to different styles of music, Progressive, blues, etc. Same mebers are open minded, others like me are only for the extreme Metal music, eh, eh... WHAT IS ONE THING PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO FIND OUT ABOUT YOU? |
| I think nothing sincerally, ahahahaha.... WHAT DO THE MEMBERS OF THE BAND DO WHEN NOT DOING ANY WORK FOR THE BAND? The members of the band have other work. We don't survive with the music, eh, eh... In italy is is very difficult. Italian people support Laura Pausini, Gigi D'alessio & more very shit! |

| WHO ARE SOME OF THE BETTER BANDS, LABELS & ZINES IN ITALY? Oh, in Italy there are many great zines & many great bands. For the bands I think ZORA, GLACIAL FEAR, SMASHED HEAD, DEATHCRUSH, BEATIAL VARNAGE, SCHIZO, ARCADIA & more. there are too many, eh, eh... But the historical bands are SADIST, NECRODEATH, SCHIZO GLACIAL FEAR, BULLDOZER are all great bands. WHAT WERE YOU DOING BEFORE ANSWERING THIS INTERVIEW? WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW THAT IT'S OVER? ahahahahahahah! Before I smoke a good joint. Now I go to the guys of LAND OF HATE! |
