LET ME IN (R)
RELATIVITY MEDIA (2010)
Starring: Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Grace Moretz, Richard Jenkins, Cara Budne & more.
LET ME IN is another remake of a Swedish Horror flick called LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. I've
seen the original and it is really creepy and dark. This remake comes really close to it. Owen is a 12
year old kid who keeps getting bullied by a bunch of kids in his neighborhood. He eventually
befriends a new neighbor who is a little girl named Abby. Abby tries to teach him to stand up for
himself and fight back. What he doesn't know at first, but eventually finds out is that Abby is a
Vampire. Owen does start to fight back, but things get out of control and Abby steps in. She keeps
killing off people in the neighborhood and then decides to teach the bullies a lesson they will never
forget. This is another good remake, but I did like the original a little better. There is a really good
story and they kept it really close to the original. Enough blood, action, violence, gore all within a
good story. This is in no way one of those lame ass Vampire flicks that have been coming out lately!
