| 28 DAYS LATER (R) FOX SEARCH LIGHT (Theater) 2003 Starring: Lillian Murphy, Naomie harris, megan Burns, Brendan Gleeson, Alex palmer & more! This movie has gotten so much praise & it's well deserved!!! This is one of the best zombie flicks I've seen in a long time. Some experimental monkeys are let loose from a science lab & are carrying a deadly virus. The virus spreads through humans very quickly & kills them off. Or so is thought! 28 Days Later the human race comes back to life or the walking dead, as zombies. These are some very vicious & blood thirsty zombies too. The story follows a man who was locked up in a hospital who wakes up to discover he's a lone. He starts searching to find other survivors & does what he can to stay alive. The plot is pretty routine for a zombie flick, but this one has lots of twists & surprises that most others don't. There is lots of suspense, action, gore & lots of blood! The infected are coming!!! This is a great zombie flick that I highly recommend!!! |

| ALTERED STATES (R) WARNER BROS. (DVD) 1980 Starring: William Hurt, Blair Brown, Bob Balaban & Charles Haid. Eddie Jessup is a research scientists who believes other states of consciousness are as real as everyday reality. In the basement of a medical school he uses sensory deprivation & adds powerful, hullucinogenic drugs to explore Altered States. He endures experinces that make madness seem a blessing. The more he expirences the further he wants to go. As he floats in the darkness his experiment becomes horrifyically out of control & the test subject is himself. There are a ton of very bizarre mind altering special effects to make you feel like your on drugs. It really helped capture the film well! This is a great flick for anyone with an open mind & into strange movies! The DVD contains a remastered soundtrack, interactive menus, production notes, theatrical trailers, TV spots & more!!! |
| BAD BOYS II (R) UNIVERSAL (Theater) 2003 Starring: Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Gabrielle Union & more!!! This movie has been a long time coming. They have been working on this script since the last one hit the theaters. The first movie was done back in 1994 or 1995. If you didn't see the first movie you can still follow this movie no problem. Will & Martin are Miami narcotic Police Officers trying to stop a drug smuggler from bring drugs into Miami out of Cuba. This movie packs more action, more comedy & lots more of everything the first film had. The first car chase scene on the highway bridge was nothing like I've seen before. It was totally insane & they destroyed so many very expensive new & classic cars in this movie. Will & Martin work so well off each & I couldn't stop laughing. I was surprised that Martin Lawrence was so much more funnier than Will Smith. This film got a lot of crappy reviews, but I thought this was one of the best films I've seen so far this summer & better than the first movie!!! BLOOD FEAST 2 - ALL U CAN EAT (R) QUESOGRANDE PRODUCTIONS (VHS) Starring: John McConnell, Mark McLauchlin, Melissa Morgan, Toni Wynne & more! I've never seen the first Blood Feast movie, but I don't think it really matters. This is a very low budget B-Horror movie. The movie is about a strange guy who inherits a catering company. He finds out that his grand father who owned the company was a serial killer. He starts cleaning out the building & finds a statue in a bcak room. The statue posses some kind of power & makes the new owner go out & kill. He starts killing all the brides maids from the wedding party he is supposed to be catering. He starts killing the women & tearing out their innards & making food out of them for the wedding party. There were a bunch of gory & bloody parts & some hot naked chicks, but for the most part it was a lot of bad acting & bad dialog. This is worth at least one view for the gore & the women though!!! BLOOD FREAK (R) (VHS) Starring: Steve Hawkes, Dana Cullivan, Randy Grinter Jr., Heather Hughes & Larry Wright! This is a 60's film that covers the whole drug-sploitation craze back then. A biker stops to help a women with car trouble on a Florida highway. After he helps her she invites him to come to her sisters place with her. Her sister lives in this little commun where everyone is doing drugs & having sex. The main women is a religious freak who is always trying to set her sister straight. The biker goes to work on this farm where they are doing experimental drug testing on the animals. The scientist offer the biker some of the drugs. he takes them & then starts to go crazy. He has a lust for chickens blood which eventually sets him off on a rampage & he starts killing humans. He turns into a half man, half chicken when he gets the urges to go on his killing spree. This was a pretty bad horror flick with very little blood or gore, but once again there were a few hot chicks in it!!! BRIDE OF FRANK (R) EGG PRODUCTIONS (VHS) 1996 Starring: Frank Meyer, Rena Ballot, Tamsin Atkinson & lots more! This is a really strange & bizzare flick! This is a very low budget movie about an old crusty guy named Frank. He works in a office for some factory & has a very twisted sexual obsession with femailes. He starts off by kidnapping a small girl & then beats her & runs her over with his truck! he then goes to some hookers, sexually abuses them & kills them. He answers a personal ad, kills her! Calls an escort service, kills her! He even winds up with a transvestite & kills her/him! All this is going on around or in the place he works. At the end of the movie there's a big office party & the group playing is the band Young & Fabulous. This I thought was weird cause I interviewed them a few years back in my magazine. There were some pretty intense parts in the flick with some actual good gore parts for how low budget it was, but for the rest of the movie it was bad acting! This is still good for one viewing though!!! |

| CARNIVORE (R) VISUAL SOUND/20TH CENTURY FOX (DVD) Starring: Jill Adcock, Steven W. Cromie, John C. Jacob, Lori Johnson & more! This is an 80's B-horror flick that is now available on DVD. This film is about a group of U.S. Government scientist doing experiments in an old decrepit mansion. When four teens plan to spend a night in the old mansion, they soon find out that the house holds more than it seems. They eventually fall victims to one of the experiments, which happens to be a hoorifying, genetically engeneered, menacing carnivorous beast. The beast breaks loose from it's holding cell, kills it's creators & hunts after the teens. There are some very small gore parts, but for the most part this is your typical 80's cheesy B-horror movie. The DVD contains some special features which are a director commentary, Carnivore Kills! | EMBRACE OF THE VAMPIRE (R) MINISTRY OF FILM/GENERAL MEDIA ENTERTAINMENT (VHS) Starring: Alyssa Milano, Martin Kemp, Harrison Pruett, Jordon Ladd, Jennifer Tilly & more. This movie follows along the lines of Bram Stoker's Dracula movie. Alyssa Milano is a student at a college who is also a virgin. An ancient vampire finds her & falls in love with her cause she is beautiful & pure. Her boyfriend keeps pressuring her into having sex, but she keep resisting. The vampire sends out a seductress of his own to keep the boyfriend busy. This seductress is the hot & sexy Jennifer Tilly. As the vampire persues Alyssia, Jennifer persues the boyfriend. Once the vampire has his way with Alyssia & Jennifer has her way with the boyfriend, things start to appear differently. Everyone they run into becomes very dark, sexual & even a bit violent. People are being turned into vampires & become very blood thirsty. The story was a little on the slow weak side, but you do get to see Alyssia Milano naked a lot & she even has a quick lesbian scene. The only thing that could have made this better would have been if Jennifer Tilly was naked & was the one in Alyssia's Lesbian scene!!! GROTESQUE (R) UNITED FILMAKERS GROUP (VHS) 1987 Starring: Linda Blair, Tab Hunter, Donna Wilkes, Brad Wilson & more! Linda Blair & her girlfriend are headed to her parents house for vacation. On their way they run into a bunch of punkers who have broken down & start harrassing them! Her fater is a make up & special effects artist for Hollywood who has recently retired. They make it to the parents huge house in the mountains & have a nice visit. On the first night they are awaken by the punkers who followed them & plan on robbing & killing them! After some time of torturing the family they eventually kill the mother, father & linda's friend. Linda escapes off into the woods with one punker close behind. As the other punkers loot the house they come across a hidden room.They come face to ugly face with Patrick a deformed child mutant who witnessed the killings & wants revenge. He persues all the punkers & proceeds to kill them all except two. The police finally arrive & kill Patrick. The punkers claim he was th one doing all the killing. The uncle of Linda refuses to believe them & sets out for his own justice. He captures the punkers, takes them back to the house & locks them in the room where Patrick was found. He reveals that he is patricks father & is also a deformed mutant as he tortures & beats the punkers into deformed mutants of human flesh!!! |
