I have always been a huge fan of the Sidaris films & was very pleased to find them starting to be released on DVD. I was even more pleased to recieve these two great films for review. | HARD TICKET TO HAWAII (R) MALIBU BAY FILMS (DVD) 2001 Starring: Dona Speir, Hope Marie Carlton, Cynthia Brimhall, Ronn Moss & manyothers. This is the 1st of all the Andy Sidaris films to hit the DVD version. This was actually the 1st Andy Sidaris film I ever originally saw. His films are done in a James Bond style, but are way better! The Sidaris films all follow the same structure: Bullets, Bombs & Babes!!! They got it right the 1st time & stuck to it through out all the films.The movie is about two undercover agents running a cargo service in the island of Hawaii. They discover some diamonds & then discover themselves involved in the middle of an international drug ring operation. This is when the actions kicks in! There is tons of non-stop action, like car chases, karate, explosions, guns & best of all is the babes, babes & more babes!!! You will never be let down or bored with these films, trust me. This is the second DVD release of the Andy Sidaris movie collection. This is yet another great film filled with Bullets, Bombs & Babes! The movie is about a wealthy political figure who donates a priceless piece of art to the city of Paris: The Picasso Trigger. Once leaving the ceremony he is killed by a sniper or was he? This is when he plans on killing off the government agents who have been continuosly hunting him down. The movie stars 7 Playboy Playmates as the secret agents! There is tons of espionage double crossing, guns, explosions & lots of hot beautiful women!!! | BACKSTAGE PASS 2 (NR) INZANE RECORDS (VHS) featuring: PAPA ROACH, DOPE, GENETORTURERS, EVE 6, ZEBRAHEAD, WOLFPAC, CROWBAR, SOCIETY 1, PIMPADELIC, YO-YO'S & BACKYARD BABIES. This is the 2nd volume in this series of home videos. This video gives you a little glimpse of first hand accounts of what happens from actual bands, roadies & a real professional groupie! There is also never before seen footage & interviews with the above bands. There are some pretty funny stories & some really hot women as well. The whole thing is directed by Matt Zane of INZANE RECORDS & the singer for SOCIETY 1. The only complaint is that there is no nudity in this one (actually there is, but it's all blocked out). | INNOCENT BLOOD (R) WARNER BROS. (DVD) 1992 Starring: Anne Parillaud, Robert Loggia, Anthony Lapaglia & Don Rickles. I have heard a lot about this movie, but have never seen it till now. I picked this DVD up for only $6.00, which now I'm glad I did. This is a vampire movie, but in no way your typical vampire movie. Marie is a vampire who will only sink her fangs into bad guys, cause she never takes "Innocent Blood"! Once she fails to kill off one of her victims, who happens to be a mob boss named Sal Macelli in Pittsburgh, all hell breaks looose. Sal soon realizes his new found powers & attempts to turn the rest of his mob family into vampires. There are some pretty dark & gruesome scenes & a pretty cool story line. This movie was directed by John Landis, who did AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON! So you know already it's going to be a decent film. It is!!! |
| LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER (PG-13) PARAMOUNT (DVD) 2001 Starring: Angelina Jolie. This is the movie adaption of the worlds most famous video game heroine. Angelina Jolie, in my opinion, was the perfect person to portray Lora Croft.She is very beautiful, physical & has the right attitude of the game. She explores lost empires, finds priceless treasures & battles villians in the process. her father's secret sends her on the greates challenge for the Triangle Of Light, which has the power to alter space & time. I wans't that excited to check this movie out, but it was very good with lots of action, adventure, comedy & the ever so hot, Angelina Jolie in the starring role & tight outfits. Some of the DVD's other features include in depth interviews with cast & crew, Angelina's physical training, a U2 music video, deleted scenes, a look at the Tomb raider game, behind the scenes of stunts & visual effects, plus lots more! This was actually a very good movie which was well worth checking out!!! |
