| BANNED FROM TV #2 (R) FALL LINE ENTERTAINMENT (VHS) This was a really cool video. It contains lots of footage of stuff that was too violent or graphic for TV. I've seen some of the stuff before on "World's Scariest Police Videos", "Real TV", & "Maximum Exposure", but they didn't show all the footage like you get to see here! There was lots of police dash board camera stuff, one politician blowing his head off with a gun, a man commiting suicide by jumping from the top of a radio tower, lots of car crashes & more! If your a fan of any of the above TV shows then you'll love this video!!! BLOOD SPLATTERED BRIDE (R) MORGANA FILM PRODUCTIONS (VHS) Starring: Simon Andreau, Maribel Martin, Alexandra Bastedo. This is a 70's horror sex gore flick that was awesome. The movie is about this newly married couple on their way to their honeymoon. They stop off in a hotel & the bride starts having visions of a blood splattered bride. Once they reach their destination the visions get stronger & more bizarre. The husband becomes very sexually violent & starts to really control & abuse her. The more this happens the more the visions of this blood splattered bride becomes more real & she shows her ways of killing her husband. The woman eventually appears & physically attempts to killing the husband. There were some slow parts, but for the most part this was a cool flick!!! CABIN FEVER (R) LIONS GATE FILMS (THEATRE) 2003 Starring: Rider Strong, Jordan Ladd, Joey Kern, Cerina Vincent & James Debello. I knew I was going to love this film! This is a horror flick done in the old late 70's early 80's horror movie style! Five friends who have just finished college decide to take a vacation in a cabin in some back woods town. A hunter gets some disease from his infected dog & stumbles upon the cabin where the teens are. One of the guys shoots him cause he is already decaying & bleeding from every pour through his skin. He spits blood all over their truck & they set him on fire. He then runs off into the woods & eventually falls into the drinking water ravene & dies. Now, once all the people drink the water they get infected as well. This is when the gore & blood really begins. The teens all become infected, one by one. They start bleeding through their skin & spiting blood all over the place. They also get sores all over their body that start opening up & decaying their skin as it falls off! Of course I loved this film! This one rates very high up on the blood factor. It felt like a combination of the films NIGHT OF THE LIVIING DEAD, FRIDAY THE 13TH, BAD TASTE & 28 DAYS LATER! This is a must for all fans of horror & gore flicks!!! |

| DAREDEVIL (PG-13) 20TH CENTURY FOX (DVD) 2003 Starring: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrel & Michael Clarke Duncan. I was very happy to hear they were making a movie about the DAREDEVIL comic book. I used to collect the comic book & thought he was one of the more interesting super heroes. matt Murdock is a blind attorney who represents innocent people during the day & by night he becomes "The man Without Fear", the DAREDEVIL! he is a powerful masked vigilante who intends to cleanse the streets of Hell's Kitchen in New York of crime. He uses his uncanny radar senses that let him "see" as he fights villians. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this film cause Ben Affleck had the lead role. He actually did a good job in the role & was actually the character I liked best. He was the one character I felt stayed the most true to the comic book version. The DVD is a two disc set & contains lots of extra features. Some of the features include full length director commentary, two documentaries, six production featuretts, behind the scenes, screen tests, music videos & lots more. | DEATHROW GAMESHOW (R) PARAMOUNT PRODUCTIONS (VHS) Starring: John McCafferty, Robyn Blythe, mark Lasky, Darwyn Carson & more. This movie is about a game show called "Live Or Die", which all it's contestants are deathrow inmates. When the host of this show mistakenly kills off an inmate who happens to be part of the mafia, he's headed for trouble himself. The mafia is always after him & makes many attempts at murdering him. There are some fun dark comedic parts in the movie, but it's surrounded with lots of very bad acting. Once the mofia leader finds him, he holds him & his girlfriend hostage & continues to torture & abuse them. This flick was ok for a few laughs, but that's about all!!! |

| FIGHT CLUB (R) 20TH CENTURY FOX (DVD) 1999 Starring: Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter, Meat Loaf & Jared Leto. Inever had any desire to see this movie when it first came out. I'm not a big fan of Brad Pitt or fighting & boxing movies. I borrowed this DVD from my sister & actually loved this movie. It's so strange & bizarre from beginning to end! Ed Norton is a ticking time bomb insomniac & Brad Pitt is a slippery soap salesman. These two channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. They form underground "fight clubs" which quickly catch on & new ones are forming in every town. Helena Bonham Carter is the mysterious woman who comes between them & causes an out of control spiral towards oblivion. The film was done in a very dark & twisted comedy style. It's one of those movies where you laugh at things you know you shouldn't be laughing at. The end of this film was more bizarre & strange than anything else in the movie. | FREDDY VS. JASON (R) NEW LINE CINEMA (THEATER) 2003 Starring: Robert Englund, Kelly Rowland & lots more. This was the movie every horror fan has been waiting for. The two biggest horror heavy weights go head to head. Freddy Krueger is back & wants to terrorize all the rest of the children of Elm Street once again. To do this he inlists Jason Voorhees to come back & do his slaughtering for him. Once freddy tries to do some killing Jason takes all his victims from him. Freddy gets pissed & decides to go after Jason himself. These two greats proceed to beat the shit out of each other big time. I loved it! There was tons of violence, carnage, blood, gore, comedy & even your typical horror movie nudity! This movie was better than all other Freddy & Jason movies put together. I can't wait to get this one on DVD. I hope this helps both of these franchises continue on! This is another movie that was based on a video game. In this flick a group of friends are headed out to an island where the rave of the year is supposed to take place. They arrive late to the rave & once they get there, no one is to be found & the place has been trashed. They quickly find out that the island is crawling with zombies out for flesh & blood! This is where all the action kicks in & the blood starts to fly. the action in the movie was pretty good, but some of the acting was pretty bad. I have seen worst though. There was lots of blood & brains flying once the action kicked in. This movie reminded me of a lot of horror flicks from the 80's. This wasn'tone of my favorite horror movies I've seen recently, but it's definately one I will pick up on DVD when it comes out!!! |

| JUST MARRIED (PG-13) 20TH CENTURY FOX (DVD) 2003 Starring: Ashton Kutcher, Brittany Murphy, Christian Kane & more! I wasn't going to review this movie cause it's not the style I usually do reviews for, but i thought it was a very funny movie. I love Ashton on THAT 70'S SHOW as Kelsow & Brittany Murphy is ver hot looking in this film & that's waht made me want to check it out! Plus I've seen a few other movies with Brittany Murphy in them & thought they were good. This is your typical romantic comedy about two people from other sides of the tracks who meet by accident & eventually fall in love. They feel they have the perfect relationship until they get married & go on their honeymoon. This is when all the funny mishaps begin. These two play off each other very well in this movie. Ashton's character in this film is almost the same as his character on THAT 70'S SHOW! This was a lot funnier than I thought it would be.
