| KITE (R) GREEN BUNNY / ARMS PRODUCTIONS (VHS) This is a japanimation movie about a guy who has a hitman service. He only goes after child molesters though! He uses young orphaned children he has trained as hitman to lure the molesters in & kills them. They use these guns that have bullets that explode & tear the victims apart. They also kill them in other violent ways as well. The children come to find out that their boss is the one that killed their parents & turn on him. The animation was amazing in this film. There was tons of violence, blood, gore, action & even a little cartoon nudity! Any fan of Japanimation will love this film!!! - ANIMEWORKS / 118 EAST 28TH STREET / SUITE 501 / NEW YORK, NY 10016 / www.MEDIA-BLASTERS.com PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN : CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL (PG-13) DISNEY (THEATER) 2003 Starring: Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom & many others. I wasn't sure how this movie was going to be, since it's a DISNEY film, but it turned out to be a really cool movie. Johnny Depp is a lone pirate searching for the pirates who ambushed him & left him for dead on an island. The women that Orlando Bloom is in love with, who happens to be the governers daughter is kidnapped by these evil pirates & hooks up with Johnny Depp's character to get her back. They also set out to find the hidden treasure that has placed a curse on the pirates. This curse turns the pirates into the walking dead skeletons who change in the moon light & get special evil powers. The movie was great, it had lots of action, comedy, fighting, horror, special effects & actually a good story line with good actors!!! ROBOCOP (R) MGM (DVD) 1987 Starring: Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Daniel O'Herlihy & Ronny Cox. I'm sure most of you have seen this classic film or at least have heard of it. This movie is about a good cop who gets blown away by some ruthless criminals. Some scientists & doctors try to piece him back together as an unstoppable crime fighting cyborg called ROBOCOP! He is virtually indestructable & is equipped with high tech weaponry. He quickly makes a name for himself as he cleans the crime filled streets of New York. He then goes after the criminals who destroyed his life & killed his family. This movie has it all. There's lots of action, violence, blood & more! If you've never seen this film, you must check it out. It's one of the best movies to come out in the 80's. The DVD also contains the original theatrical trailer!!! SCHOOL OF ROCK (PG-13) PARAMOUNT (THEATER) 2003 Starring: Jack Black, Joan Cusack, Michael White, Sarah Silverman & more! This movie was only meant for Jack Black. No one else could pull this off. jack Black is a Rock guitarist seeking fame & fortune. Once his band mates kick him out he poses as a substitute teacher in a private school for gifted students. he then finds out that the kids are excellent musicians & he forms a band with them. he teaches them how to Rock. he tells the kids this is a school project in order for them to go along with it. Once they find out he's not really a teacher they all quit until they realize he has taught them all more about themselves tahn any other teacher. They recruit jack back into the band for the big battle of the bands show. Jack Black was very funny in this flick, just like he always is. Every movie Jack is in is always a winner in my book! This is his best role yet, besides SAVING SILVERMAN. This is a must for any fan of Jack Black! It Rocked!!! |

| STAR TREK: NEMESIS (PG-13) PARAMOUNT PICTURES (DVD) 2002 Starring: Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Levar Burton & lots more! I'm not really a big fan of STAR TREK, but this film really made me interested. It looked like it had a lot of action, special effects & a good storyline. Guess what? It did! The crew of the Starship Enterprise are on a new mission. They are lured to a desolete planet where they find a torn apart android like data. They get ambushed by some rogue warriors on the way back to the ship. They also get intercepted by another ship who wants to ban together to fight the Romulans, but the Enterprise is on it's way to make peace with the Romulans. This new brilliant villian is harboring a diabolical plan of destruction & an unimaginable secret that will have Picard facing his most fearsome challenge. This was probably the best STAR TREK film out of them all. The story was very good, in depth, great special effects & make up effects. I'm sure all STAR TREK fans will love this flick! | TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (R) NEW LINE CINEMA (THEATER) 2003 Starring: Jessica Biel, eric Balfour, Andrew Brynarski, Jonathon Tucker, Erica Leerhsen & Mike Vogel. Everyone out there reading this should already know of this movie, if not you deserve to be one of Leatherface's victims in this film. I never thought you should mess with perfection & they did. This remake of the 1974 original was just as good though. They did change some of the stuff in the film, but it didn't sway too much from the main focus of the film. Five friends driving on some backwoods road in Texas come across a woman wondering in the middle of the street. She is very hysterical & covered in blood. Once she commits suicide in their van they seek out some police to come help. Once they find the police, they soon realize they wish they hadn't. Once they come upon the old plantation house the real hell & horror begins. The inside of the house is covered in animal & human bones, blood & other remains. Leatherface quickly takes out each of the five friends onme by one & does it ina very brutal & bloody way. He then would place the bodies upon meathooks so he can skin them & pluck the bodies of anything he wants. This version was very cool & very true to the original. I loved it, but nothing can beat the original classic! Get 'em Leatherface, get 'em!!! THE ORDER (R) 20TH CENTURY FOX (THEATER) 2003 Starring: Heath ledger, mark Addy, Sarah Sossaman & more. Heath ledger is a young priest who is brought to Italy when an older priest who helped raise him is found dead. He is accompanied by a childhood friend (Sarah Sossaman) who has recently escaped from a mental hospital. Once in Italy they meet with another priest (Mark Addy) to inestigate the older priest's death. These priest are last of their sect & the church will not help out in anyway. During their investigation they come across an underground religeous group who bring them in touch with a sin eater! he helps people who have been dismissed from the church cross over when they are dying & basically eats their sins. he takes on all their pain, misery & evilness. The sin eater is also on the verge of dying after hundreds of years & is trying to enlist Heath Ledger to fill the spot. During all this the underground religeous group is ploting to wipe out the pope & take over the vatican. I thought this was going to be a horror movie, but it was more of a suspense, thriller, mystery. It was really good & I actually enjoyed it a lot. It is one I will pick up on DVD once it's released!!! UNDERWORLD (R) SCREEN GEMS (THEATER) 2003 Starring: Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Bill Nighy & more! This movie takes you inside the dark underworld of two different species of creatures! The main focus is on the vampire species who are in battle with the Lykons a werewolf species. These two species have been fighting for centuries & a new battle is about to begin. There is a rogue werewolf who has gathered up an army of very violent & fierce werewolfs to take out the entire vampire race. The vampires will raise some of their ancient vampires to help fight the werewolfs. Kate is the main vampire who tracks a couple of Lykons who are after a certain human. The human is part Lykon & they want to also turn him into a vampire! The rogue werewolf was in love with the daughter of one of the ancient vampires. Once the ancient vampire found this out he killed his own daughter & thus is the reason for this long lasting battle. There were a lot of cool special effects & the transformation of the Lykons from human to werewolf was amazing. The Lykons were scary & violent as hell & unlike any other werewolf I've seen in movies before. This movie reminded me a lot of Romeo & Juliet meets THE MATRIX, but with a lot of vampires & werewolfs tossed in. This is yet another one I will pick up on DVD when it comes out!!! |

| THE IMITATORS (R) 5OTH STREET FILMS / TROMA TEAM RELEASE (DVD) Starring: Pancho Russel, David Doyle, Saltz, Gary Beadle, Frances Lima & John Bushnell. This is a Troma Team release of a 50th Street Films movie. The movie is about a a group of small time crooks who have big time aspirations. They inlist a lone drifter from the inner city into their group to do a big bank job. The drifter becomes an innocent accomplice in exchange for food & a place to stay. These guys are each driven by their own image of a hero & are just pale imitations of their ideals & idols. . This was a dark comedy that had a lot of twists & turns & also had a decent amount of action as well. This is a slighty different than most Troma releases, but it was still a pretty decent flick.
