| BLOODLINE (R) LIONSGATE FILMS (2004) Starring: Clay Adams, Jay Anthony, Aimee Barth, Keith Coulouris, Lauren Gibbs & more. This is a low budget horror movie that was a bit cheesy. The film follows a bunch of teens who are camping in the woods when some of the kids are attacked & slaughtered. The rest of them panic & are trying to find out who is doing it & trying to survive. They find out that the killer is a deformed guy who has a bloodline of crazies in his family. They all went pyscho & hacked up a bunch of people. This was a bad horror flick that pulls from a lot of other films & does a poor job of it. The acting, story & the special effects were pretty bad. This is maybe worth one viewing & that's it!!! |
| MULVA ZOMBIE ASSKICKER / FILTHY MCNASTY (R) LOW BUDGET (2002) Starring: Missy Donatuti, Chris Seaver, Debbie Rochon, Doug Sakmann, Lloyd Kaufman & more. This DVd contains two of the cheesist & some what horrible low budget horror films I have ever seen. The first film follows a really disturbing looking girl on halloween night. As she & her friend go out they start getting attacked by terrible looking zombies. The second film follows two girls who are outcast in their school & want nothing more than to be part of the cool crowd. They make a deal with the devil to become beautiful & cool. The only thing is that all the people they wanted to be like are being killed off by the devil. These films were really bad & reminded me of some ones home made movies. |
| SCARY MOVIE 4 (UR) DIMENSION FILMS / MIRAMAX FILMS (2006) Starring: Anna Faris, Craig Bierko, Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, Carmen Electra & more. This is the 4th installment of this film franchise that spoofs the latest films that have been out. This time they spoof WAR OF THE WORLDS, THE GRUDGE, BROKE BACK MOUNTAIN & SAW. Sometimes these movies are hit or miss, I think this one missed more than it hit. There were some funny parts in the films, but most of the stuff wasn't that funny or just was plain stupid. This wasn't as good as the past films, but I didn't think they had good films to spoof this time around as well. This one could go either way depending on what type of films you like! When people start turning up dead around them they get a little suspicious of what is going on. A special government hitman is sent in to take control of these things. When they get in a little too deep the man of the couple finds out some other secrets he wasn't expecting. He uncovers somethings about his girlfriend he was a little taking back by. | SPIDER FOREST (R) TARTAN VIDEO (2004) Satrring: Woo-Seong Kam, Jung Suh, Kyeong-Heon Kang, Hyeong-Seong Jang, Byung-Ho Son & more. A man discovers his wife has been cheating on him & takes revenge. He follows them & finds them deep in the spider forest in a small house. Once he goes in he begins to slaughter them & butcher them. He then wonders from the house & is attcked by some one, he doesn't recognize. He ends up walking through a road tunnel & gets hit by a truck. He wakes up in a hospital & tries to piece things together & figure out what has happened. This was a little bizarre at times & a great film. I really dig these strange, off beat Asian films a lot & this is defantely one of those that I will always remember!!! Well worth watching!!! www.gumisus.co.kr |
| URBAN LEGENDS: BLODDY MARY (R) SONY PICTURES (2005) Starring: Kate Mara, Roberto Vito, Tina Lifford, Ed Marinaro, Michael Coe & more. This is the newest addition to the URBAN LEGENDS films. This one is about a girl from the 60's that was treated like a crap by a football player. He drugs her & then attacks her. When he chases after her he hits her & she falls & hits her head on a table. He thinks he kills her & hides the body in a trunk. In presnt day kids from the same school start dying some bizarre & gashly deaths. They can't explain it until they figure out it's the ghost of Mary coming back to kill the children of those who had anything to do with the fatfal night. The story was adecent common one, but the acting was a bit cheesy, as well as some of the special effects. Maybe worth one viewing, but there are better flicks out there! Not the best one in this series! |

Two college buddies are trying to get get into a specific fraternity & tell them they will get a stripper to come to the house & put on a show. They don't have any money or a car, so they go to the rich Asian kid at the school. He says he will give them what they want if they will be is friend & let him tag along. They find some out of town strip club in the middle of no where. The club isn't your typical strip club though. What they soon come to realize is that everyone that works at the club is a Vampire. When one of the friends is bitten, they need to figure out to help him & to survive through the night & get home. This is a campy horror comedy that is a little before it's time! |

The main character of this film is a low budget party clown who hires himself out for birthday parties. When he arrives at a party where the father has abused the mother & taken away to jail by the police, he decides to take his clown act in another direction. He decides to be a bachlor S&M clown. On his first job he gets attacked, beaten up & sexually molested by three guys. He goes into a crazy depression & doesn't care about life anymore. He saves a little girl from her psycho father & becomes famous. He gets his own TV show & more. Then his past comes back to haunt him, when the 3 guys try to black mail him with a video tape of that night. He then tries to get his revenge & kill those bastards! | THE DEVILS REJECTS (R) LIONS GATE FILMS (2005) Starring: Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon, William Forsythe, Ken Foree & more. This is the second Rob Zombie film. The film is not a sequal to HOUSE OF A THOUSAND CORPSES, but a continuation of that film. The film starts out with the police storming an old run down farm house. The people inside are the maniacs who did all the killing in the first film. They start firing back at the police as they ambush the house. Some are killed & two escape. They capture the mother & lock her up for questioning. The two who escape go to a motel to wait for their father to meet up with them. They kidnap a music band who was staying there. They slaughter everyone & then some. Once the father arrives they go on the run from the police & a killing spree along the way. The film was very good, but there were a few parts that were slow moving, but it was a pretty good 70's style horror/violent flick!!! www.DEVILSREJECTS.com |
| EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE, THE (PG-13) SCREEN GEMS (2005) Starring: Laura Linney, Tom Wilkinson, Campbell Scott, Jennifer Carpenter, Colm Feore & more. I was a little iffy about this film, not knowing if it would be a good flick or not. This film is based on real events that happened to Anneliese Michel, a young german woman in the 70's. The film starts off in a small farm house witht he family of the possessed girl. There is a police officer, a doctor & a priest also present in the house. The doctor declairs Emily Rose dead & the police officer arrests the priest. The priest is held up in jail & is set to go to trial for the death of Emily Rose. As the court case unfolds we hear & see what happened to Emily & things that went on during her possession. This wasn't really a horror movie, but more of a suspense thriller.
