Scientific explorers unearth and artifact that may lead them to the origins of humankind. They are then
pulled into an adventure of a life time. They are brought into a mission into the future. They have been
in suspended animation and are awoken on a ship in the future. Once everyone is awake they are then
told why each one was picked to help on this mission. They are there because a species was discovered
that may lead them to how the human race came into existence. They finally land on the planet where
they start to go out an explore. They discover a huge sphere that they enter and start wandering around
and soon discover something they wish they hadn't. They discover an "alien" species that soon proves
to not be as friendly as they hoped. The creatures then start to kill off the crew one by one. The end
was the best part and shows how this film could be the prequel to Riddly Scott's
ALIEN movies. This
was a decent Sci-Fi Horror type movie, but I didn't find it anywhere as scary or as intense as the rest of
ALIEN franchise. This film felt like a 70's throw back type film, which may have been intentional
since the first
ALIEN movie came out in the late 70's.
