"THE ALMIGHTY PROPAGATOR OF DOOM AND DESPAIR"
You wouldn't think Black Metal this dark & evil would emerge from Indiana, but rather from
some European or Nordic country. PTAHIL had unleashed some pure chaotic evil with their
release "FOR HIS SATANIC MAJESTY'S GLORY" and now they are back to do it again
with "THE ALMIGHTY PROPAGATOR OF DOOM AND DESPAIR". This is 7 tracks
of dark, dirty, raw Black Metal with heavy Doom Metal influences. The music is definitely
done in an old school style with almost a D.I.Y. feel. The music is done in a low ended, some
what static guitar vein with low noisy guitars. It almost has a bit of Grindcore feel especially
in the faster more crazy parts. The slower more dragging parts is where to dreary Doom
Metal parts come into play. The vocals are done in a mid range harsh screaming & growling
Black Metal vocals. These guys make a lot of noise for only two people in the band, but it's a
noise that you want to crank up and listen to over and over again. They changed their sound a
little bit on this new album from the last, but you can still tell it's PTAHIL doing what
PTAHIL do best.
