| SCARS OF TOMORROW HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE 2000 NOW, CAN YOU GIVE US SOME OF THE BANDS HISTORY UP TO THIS POINT? HOW YOU FORMED & ANY PREVIOUS BANDS MEMBERS WERE IN? We started off as a band that wanted to write as many awesome songs as possible & to hopefully be able to play all the big clubs in Orange County. Quickly we were able to start playing the big name clubs at home like Glass House, Chain Reaction & Showcase Theater, so early on we were having the times of our lives. Now were doing the same thing just on a bigger level. We tour non stop through out the year & currently we are about to hit the studio again for another record. WHY WAS THE NAME SCARS OF TOMORROW CHOSEN AS THE BANDS NAME? It was kind of a draw out of a list of names kinda thing at first, but through out the history of this band we have had this name grow on us quite well, because of the situations that have happened to us. WHO OR WHAT HAS HAD SOME INFLUENCE OR IMPACT IN YOU CREATING YOUR MUSIC? The intensity of the crowds we play in front of definately impact us a lot to write the music we do. The passion & aggression is a good release & I love it. HOW WOULD YOU BEST DESCRIBE THE STYLES & SOUND OF SCARS... TO SOME ONE WHO HAS YET TO HEAR YOU GUYS? Really aggressive music with passionate vocals playing as heavy music as possible. YOUR NEWEST ALBUM "THE HORROR OF REALIZATION" HAS BEEN OUT FOR AWHILE NOW. HOW WELL HAS IT BEEN DOING? WHAT HAS THE RESPONSE TO IT BEEN LIKE? It's been going really well. We have constantly been touring so it helps sales & all. A lot of people really connect with the lyrics as well. HOW DOES THIS ALBUM DIFFER FROM PAST RELEASES? It's a lot more raw of a recording & in your face. WHAT IS SOME OF THELYRICAL CONTENT IN YOUR SONGS ON THIS ALBUM? Realizing the mistakes in your own life to make it better. Being there for others, empowering yourself to be better! CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE COVER ARTWORK A BIT & WHO DID IT? Our old drummer Ruben did it. he helped us write our first record. It's just supposed to reflect the title & i think it does perfectly. ALEX VARKATZAS OF ATREYU MAKES A GUEST APPEARANCE ON THE TRACK "THE HIDDEN GRUDGE". HOW DID THIS COME ABOUT & HOW WAS IT WORKING WITH HIM? He's been a close friend forever & we have always talked about singing on each others records so we had a chance to get him on ours & I recently did a quick spot on their new record "A DEATHGRIP ON YESTERDAY" |

| YOU HAVE A VIDEO FOR THE SONG "THE CONSTANT HORROR OF REALITY". CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE VIDEO A LITTLE BIT? WHAT WAS THE WHOLE VIDEO SHOOT PROCESS LIKE? It was 8 hours of mayhem & non stop sweat. We were originally shooting for another video & we shot the wrong song so we went & totally redid the song in about 2 hours. I READ SOMETHING ABOUT A NEW RECORD TO BE RELEASED THIS YEAR. CAN YOU GIVE SOME INFO. ON THIS ALBUM? TITLE & RELEASE DATE? |
| We don't have a title for it yet, but it's the most brutal stuff we have ever done. We have a demo song on myspace.com/SOT called "The Failure In Drowning". YOU GUYS JUST DID A EUROPEAN TOUR? HOW DID THIS TOUR GO? WHO DID YOU TOUR WITH & WHERE IN EUROPE DID YOU GUYS GO? We went to most of the countries there & it was the time of our lives. I've never played in front of so many amazing crowds in a row. We went with HAND TO HAND on LIFEFORCE & they definately showed us a great time YOU HAVE A NEW U.S. TOUR COMING UP. WHO WILL YOU BE TOURING WITH HERE & WHERE WILL THIS TOUR TAKE YOU? We're finishing up a headline run right now with COLICO SYSTEM, INKED IN BLOOD & DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. The tour has gone amazzzzzzing. We end in 4 days & then we go to the studio. HOW WOULD YOU COMPARE TOURING IN EUROPE TO TOURING HERE IN THE U.S.? The culture is way different, but amazing to say the least. We had a blast in Europe & we are planning a ton more trips there coming up. I love the states because it's our home, but being somewhere else rules. ARE THERE ANY COOL, FUNNY OR INTERESTING BAND STORIES YOU COULD SHARE WITH US? I played with an alien the other day. WHAT DO THE MEMBERS OF THE BAND DO WHEN NOT DOING ANY WORK FOR THE BAND? JOBS, HOBBIES, ECT? We write music & live cheap, we usually tour so much we don't work. I love it! WHAT WAS THE FIRST ALBUM YOU REMEMBER BUYING? WHAT WAS THE FIRST CONCERT YOU EVER WENT TO? I bought a SLAYER record then went to thier show a few eeks later & loved heavy music ever since. |

Working 9 to 5 & hating life WHAT CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING FROM SCARS OF TOMORROW? Lots of cheese puffs & lots of touring. |
| WHAT WERE YOU DOING BEFORE ANSWERING THIS INTERVIEW? WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING NOW THAT IT'S DONE? I'm sitting in the van with my laptop finally working, driving in 110 degree weather wishing there was snow. Now I'm probably going to drop a water bottle on me.
