STAKELAND takes place in the future about a post apocalyptic America. This is a thriller / Horror
mixed film about Vampires, religious fanatics and vicious humans. I'm not a really big fan of the
Vampire genre, but this is definitely one of the better Vampire flicks to come along in years. This is
probably due to the fact that it's not just about Vampires. The story follows Mister who is a drifter
who trains a straggler named Martin, how to survive this future world. They are on a journey to a safe
place called New Eden. Along the way they pick up some other survivors and they soon become close
knit. They must fight off Vampires along the way and some religious fanatics who think everyone is
evil and they start killing people. Luckily, the Vampires tend to take care of the religious fanatics.
There is a lot of action, suspense and blood and gore. I loved this film and the cool thing is it was
filmed in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, which is where I lived before moving to Colorado. It was cool
seeing a lot of places I would see almost everyday while living there.
