Martin Brundle is raised in the confines of a laboratory. Once he gets into his early twenties he starts
to wonder what's on the outside and why he is confined to the laboratory. He starts to investigate and
discovers that he is the child of Seth Brundle, the man who first started the teleportation experiments.
He later finds out that he has also inherited the fathers genes which also include that of the insect.
Once he turned twenty one the insect gene starts to take over his body. He must now use his new
found powers to use them against his captors. This second installment wasn't nearly as good as the
first film, but it was still a decent Sci-Fi Horror type flick. The effects weren't as involved as the first
one either, but they were still pretty detailed. You don't really need to see the first film to understand
what's going, but it does help a little.
