This is a classic Wes Craven Horror flick from the seventies. I have seen this a bunch of times, so figured I would finally reviews it. A family is traveling cross country on their way to California when their camper breaks down in the middle of the desert. They soon realize that it was a trap and they were made to break down. There is a cannibalistic mutant family that lives in the mountains that hunts down travelers that pass through. They chase, torture and kill this family and then also eat them. This is a perfect film and definitely one I always think of when I think of the best Horror flicks from the seventies. This is very gritty, raw and violent, it's like a grind house film. Wes Craven started out as one of the greats in the Horror genre and still remains one. If you haven't seen this great film by now, it's a must. If you have scene it before than revisit this classic again.
