Starring: Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Dianne Wiest, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz & more.

This is one of those films that has become a cult classic in the Horror genre, but I never really
understood why. I recently watched it again & couldn't really figure it out. It's about a family that
moves to a small California coastal town. The boardwalk is plagued with vampires, but no one really
knows about them. Lots of kids go missing, but still no one can figure it out. One of the new kids
gets pulled into the inner circle, by Star (Jaimie Gertz). She later feels bad about it once they start to
transform him into a vampire as well. There is a decent story & some good comedic parts, but no
real gore or Horror. Corey Feildmans character is highly annoying all through out. It's an over all
decent film, but I still can't figure out why it has become such a huge classic! Maybe it's because I'm
not a big fan of Vampires or something, but I dig the film, just still don't understand why it's such a
cult film! Maybe if I saw it when it first came out, not many years later.
