I loved the original film from the 70's, so I wasn't sure how this remake was going to turn out. Very
few remakes have been better than the originals, but this is one of them. Jennifer is a writer who
retreats to a secluded cabin in the woods to work on here next story. She is eventually interrupted by
some rednecks who invade her home, torture her and rape her. She is left to be killed by the mentally
challenged one of the group. He doesn't kill her, but tells the rest of them he did. She disappears for a
little while and then returns to seek revenge on the ones who destroyed her life. She comes at them
each one by one and brutally tortures and eventually kills them all. This is some of the most horrific
and violent kill scenes ever and wait till you see the last one. This is a definite must for ever Horror
fan and one of the best remakes ever! Check it out if you can stomach it.
