MERCILESS ATTACK is a killer Thrash Metal band out of Venice, Italy. These guys
started back in 2010 and "MERCY FOR NONE" is the bands first release. The band plays
classic old school Thrash Metal from the '80's. I loved this band, because I grew up in the
'80's and Thrash Metal was my favorite style of music. There is a very cool almost
crossover style of Thrash Metal sound they have. It almost reminded me of NUCLEAR
ASSAULT and D.R.I. mixed together. There is a very cool fast paced groove and
shredding riffs all through out. The grittiness of the recording reminds me of the D.I.Y.
demo cassette days, when everyone was trading to get their stuff out there. If you were to
take parts of early METALLICA, early OVERKILL, DESTRUCTION, some SODOM
and mixed it with some NUCLEAR ASSAULT, AGENT ORANGE & D.R.I. you would
get a great idea of what a killer band MERCILESS ATTACK is. I can't wait to hear what
these guys do next!
