From the darkest blasphemous pits of Greece comes the two man monster known as
SATAN'S WRATH. The band consists of Stamos K. (ex-SCARS OF THE SUN) playing
guitar and Tas Danazoglou (ex-ELECTRIC WIZARD, EIGHT HANDS FOR KALI,
GREAT COVEN & SABBAH NAVAHTHANI) handling the drums, bass & vocals. The
band started back in 2011 and "GALLOPING BLASPHEMY" is the bands debut release.
These guys play a very cool style of Black / Thrash Metal music with some tinges of Doom
Metal mixed in at times. The music has a very killer old school raw sound to it that reminds
me of a lot of the Black / Thrash Metal bands I first started listening too. The music is a bit
rough sounding, but very cool and I'm sure done purposely to achieve that old school Black
Metal vibe. The drums and guitars tend to dominate the bands sound, while the bass is more
in the background. The guitars tend to have that crunchy Thrash Metal shred sound. The
drums are pretty tight and heavy. Tas' vocals are done in a low ended gargle type growl with
a groggy Black Metal style mixed in. This takes me back to the days of tape trading and
hearing a lot of new killer bands with this type of style & sound. This is a must for fans of
VENOM, POSSESSED, NUN SLAUGHTER & ATOMIZER! Some totally shredding
darkened Black Thrash Metal at it's finest!!!
