TOXIC HOLOCAUST are back with yet another blistering killer release. "CHEMISTRY
OF CONSCIOUSNESS" is the newest offering from these Punk / Metal madmen. I have
been a huge fan of TOXIC HOLOCAUST for years dating back to when Joel Grind was
the one man lunatic behind everything TOXIC HOLOCAUST. I even distributed the split
release they did with HELLACAUST back in the day. TOXIC HOLOCAUST blends the
whole Punk / Metal crossover sound better than anyone else I have ever heard. I was a huge
fan of the Crossover movement and loved when these two styles collided. TOXIC
HOLOCAUST is like a Punk Version of early SLAYER mixed with a Metal version of
THE EXPLOITED. There is fast paced aggressive guitar riffing done with a raw and dirty
Punk Rock style. The band his high speed adrenaline all the way and they never let up.
These guys have gotten better and better with each new release and they have done it once
again. It's hard to believe that a band can do this but they have. Every new album I think
this is the best thing they have put out then their newest release hits. These guys transport
me back to the '80's when I was skateboarding and I was getting all my Punk friends to
listen to Thrash and they were getting me to listen to Punk, then the two styles collided. If
you were to take early parts of early METALLICA, SLAYER, TESTAMENT,
MOTORHEAD and combine them with early AGNOSTIC FRONT, SICK OF IT ALL,
THE EXPLOITED, MINOR THREAT & early SUICIDAL TENDENCIES you would
get a great idea of what TOXIC HOLOCAUST has created. This being one of the best
Crossover bands ever. It's time to do the TOXIC "HOLOCAUST" waltz! Thrash til you
can't Thrash no more!
