CHILDREN OF THE LIVING DEAD (R) SPARTAN HOME ENT. (2001)
Starring: Tom Savini, Marty Schiff, Damien Luvara, Jamie McCoy, Sam Nicotero & more.
A serial murder and rapist named Abbot Hayes body disappears from the local morgue. Soon after the small
town is swept by a Zombie plague and many people were killed off. Fourteen years past and the remaining
survivors try to bury the towns past history and rebuild the town. Once a business man arrives in town things
start to turn bad again. They relocate the dead bodies of the past to a mass grave location. This stirs up Abbot
who returns with an army of the dead to attack the town once again. This was a decent Zombie flick with a
slightly different take on the genre. Another flick for all Zombie fans to check out!
FEAR NO EVIL (R) ANCHOR BAY (1981)
Starring: Stefan Amgrim, Elizabeth Hoffman, Kathleen Rowe McAllen, Frank Birney, Daniel Eden & more.
A shy & quiet high school student named Andrew is picked on and teased by his fellow students. He soon
discovers that his alienation stems from him being the Anti-Christ. Shortly after his true identity and powers
start to surface. He then starts to plot horrific revenge on those who have wronged him. His elderly next door
neighbor and a fellow student reveal themselves as two archangels. They prepare to confront him and a huge
battle ensues. The battle for superiority and power unfolds. This was a little different of a story, but a decent
one well worth checking out.
SANTA'S SLAY (R) MEDIA 8 ENTERTAINMENT (2005)
Starring: Bill Goldberg, Douglas Smith, Emile De Ravin, Robert Culp, Dave Thomas & more.
I was really expecting this flick to be really cheesy, but it was actually very cool. Wrestler Bill Goldberg plays
jolly old Saint Nick who is out to give some killer gifts this Christmas. Santa lost a bet 1000 years ago to an
angel and now that bet has expired. Santa visits a small town a hands out his gifts of murder to anyone he sees as
being naughty. There is a little cheese here and there, but the killer death scenes make up for it big time. Lots of
cool gore, nudity and killings all through out the film. This is actually one of the better sadistic killer Santa
Horror films out there. Give a viewing and always remember Santa always knows if you been bad or good!
STORM WARNING (UR) DIMENSION EXTREME (2007)
Starring: Nadia Fares, Robert Taylor, David Lyons, Matthew Wilkinson, John Brumpton & more.
A husband and wife go on a weekend boating outing for a nice get away. Things start out nicely, but quickly
takes a turn for the worst. The weather turns bad and they get lost in the storm. Once everything settles down
they find themselves stranded in a desolate swamp area. Seeking out refuge they stumble upon a dilapidated
house. They go inside for some shelter, but things get even worst when the owners return home. The hillbilly
redneck owners capture and torture the young couple. They continue to do a lot of violent & disturbing things to
them, until the couple decide to fight back. This was a decent little low budget flick that has the feel of films like
HOSTEL, CAPTIVITY & THE COTTAGE.

THE 8TH PLAGUE (R) ANTHEM PICTURES (2006)
Starring: DJ Perry, Leslie Anne Valenza, Terry Jernigan, Charles Edwin Powell, Nitin Adsul & more.
Launa sets out to find her missing sister who failed to return home from a camping trip in a remote mountain
town. She has some friends accompany her along the way. They stumble upon a strange man who claims to
know what might have happened to her sister. He takes them to an abandoned prison where they are faced with
a resurrected evil. The evil posses the group at different times and forces them to kill each other. This was a very
low budget film, but it was done very well and contained a good story, good acting, cool death scenes and a
decent amount of gore. If you dig super natural serial killer flicks then this is a must for you.

THE BURNING (R) MGM HOME ENTERTAINMENT (1981)
Starring: Brian Matthews, Leah Atres, Brian Backer, Larry Joshua, Jason Alexander & more.
This is a great Slasher flick from the early 80's. This one takes on a similar story line as the FRIDAY THE 13TH
films. A camp janitor gets horribly burned after a prank from some of the campers go wrong. The janitor is taken
away and sent to an insane asylum once his burns have been taken care of. Many years later he returns to the
campground and takes revenge on the campers. This is a very cool Slasher flick with very innovative death
scenes with the special effects and gore work being done by Tom Savini. The film also has a very young Holly
Hunter & Jason Alexander as some of the campers. One of the best Slasher films to come out of the 80's. A
must for all fans of this genre or fans of Tom Savini's great gore work.
THE CHILDREN (R) GHOST HOUSE UNDERGROUND (2008)
Starring: Eva Birthistle, Stephen Campbell Moore, Jeremy Sheffield, Rachel Shelley, Hannah Tointon & more.
It's the perfect Christmas family get together in the countryside. Everyone is having a great time, the parents are
cooking dinner & watching television, while the kids are outside playing. The kids are riding sleds on the hillside
and playing in the snow. Something strange takes over the kids and they start acting very strange. The parents try
to figure out what is wrong with the kids. Soon the kids start attacking the adults and killing them off one by one
in some disturbing ways and some silly ways as well. This was another one of those kids possessed and turned
evil films. Some of the kills were cool, but most of the acting was pretty bad. Worth maybe one viewing.

THE HILLS RUN RED (R) WARNER PREMIERE (2009)

A group of Horror movie buffs hear a rumor that a complete but never released Horror film is hidden in the
backwoods of a near by town. They decided to go in search of this hidden treasure. Once there they soon realize
that the footage captured on film is completely real. They then discover that the film makers are looking to make
another film with this group as the new stars. A creepy masked redneck sets out to hunt a kill everyone in the
group. This film has a lot of gore, original kills, nudity & some comedy. Everything a fan of this genre could ask
for. Another great Slasher flick with a cool killer.

THE MUMMY (NR) UNIVERSAL (1932)
Starring: Boris Karloff, Zita Johann, David Manners, Arthur Byron, Edward Van Sloan & more.
This is the original MUMMY film from 1932 starring the great Boris Karloff. Some British archaeologists
discover a sarcophagus of a mummified Egyptian Priest. They ignore the warning about opening the box. Once
open the Mummy is brought back to life. The Mummy takes the form of a modern Egyptian. He sets out on a
quest to resurrect his lost love. He believes the woman has been reincarnated in a modern woman. It's always
about a woman, right? This is a very slow moving by todays standards, but back then it relied on atmosphere,
style, mood and great acting and story. This is must for any Horror fan to check and see why the original
UNIVERSAL MONSTERS have become legendary!
TRAIN (R) LIONSGATE (2008)
Starring: Thora Birch, Gideon Emery, Kaven Reece, Derek Magyar, Gloria Votsis & more.
Thora Birch is a college athlete who is on a tour with her team mates in Eastern Europe. They spend their first
night out in the local town partying. They get up late and miss their train to their next match. They get tickets for
another train that claims to take them to the same place the rest of their team is. This train takes them on a
torturous ride to Hell. There are sadistic doctors on board who capture and torture tourist and cuts out their
organs and use their body parts to sell on the black market. This film has gotten a lot of flack as being a rip off of
HOSTEL. It is a little like HOSTEL, but mixed with the film TURISTAS. I actually thought this was more
graphic, better detailed gore than both the other films put together. Very rarely is a film that takes from another
more popular film better than it's predecessor, but this time I thought TRAIN was better than both.
