ALIENS VS. PREDATOR - REQUIEM (R) 20TH CENTURY FOX (2007)
Starring: Steven Pasquale, Reiko Aylesworth, John Ortiz, Johnny Lewis, Ariel Gade & more.
This movie starts off right where the first one left off. The Predator that was brought back with the chest
board & crashes the ship back on earth. A distress signal is sent back to the Predators home planet where a
clean up Predator is sent to kill them all off. In the mix is a small town who is being killed off by both
creatures as they are all trying to survive. The film was ok, not as good of story as the first one, but there was
a lot more violent & gory scenes in this one. It's a cool addition to the series, but not really the best one out
there!

This film is shot with a home video camera through out the whole film. It's the night of a friends going away
party who is moving to Japan for a job promotion. All his friends are in New York City helping celebrate
with him. During the party something big hits the city. No one knows what it is, but it keeps attacking the
city. Everyone thinks it's another terrorist attack, but it's some huge creature destroying the city & killing
anyone they can. The friends film the whole thing as they try to escape the city & survive the ambush. The
military is sent in to destroy everything. The film was done very well with lots of action, suspense &
intensity!

Once again some kids find their way to Camp Crystal Lake a.k.a. "Camp Blood" where the grisly murders
happened in the first film. This time around though Jason actually emerges from the lake for the first time &
famous hockey mask yet, but does have a sack over his head. He goes on a killing rampage & slaughters
everyone & anyone that comes in his way. This one is a really good continuation, but I will always love the
first one the best! If your a fan of the series than you'll love this flick!

I was very excited to check this film out since I saw the trailer @ the Monster Mania Horror Convention.
This is an old school American Horror film. A bunch of kids are partying in New Orleans for Mardi Gras &
decide to go on a swamp tour. They go on this tour & the boat hits something & starts to sink. They must
get off the boat & onto dry land. The only thing is that this is the swamp of Victor Crowley. A deformed
person who was tortured by others as a kid & burnt his home down. His dad tried to save him & hit him in
the face with a Hatchet! He attacks all the people in the swamp. This is one of the best new Horror films I
have seen in a long time. There are tons of original & gory as hell death scenes. This is a must for any Horror
fan!!!

Kevin Costner is Mr. Brooks who is a high powered businessman who just received a humanitarian award.
The one thing people don't know about Mr. Brooks is that he has a secret. He has a split personality & is a
murderer. He stalks some people out for awhile & then sneaks into their homes & kills them. On one of his
killings he gets caught by a photographer in a building across the street who was spying on the couple he just
murdered. The guy black mails him & wants him to show him how to do the killings. This was a different
role for Kevin Costner & was quite good. I liked the whole psychological game & suspense all through out!

I really didn't expect to enjoy this film, just because it's the 5th in the series & the name of the film. It's about
a bunch of annoying kids in college who discover a drum of Toxin & break it open. They start huffing it &
getting high. Once they huff too much they actually turn into zombies & start killing people. No one realizes
it's from huffing the Toxin. They have a huge rave on Halloween night & everyone starts huffing the Toxin &
turning into zombies. The story was bad, the acting was bad, the make up & special effects were bad too.
This is not a good addition to this series, but if your a fan & just want to see it feel free, but you have been
warned!

I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton & Johnny Depp's films so I was anxious to see this film. I wasn't expecting it to
be a musical, but was actually surprised at how much I loved this film. Depp plays Sweeny Todd who is a
barber who was sent away for years for a crime he didn't commit. He returns to London & opens up shop
above Carter's meat pie shop. The two of them conspire together to kill the people he wants to & then use
their bodies in the meat pies. Both of them become quite successful, but everything spins way out of control
& everyone goes nuts. There is a lot of blood & violence in this film. The music is really good as well. I really
loved this film a lot & even bought the soundtrack. Check this film out even if you don't like musicals cause
this is not in anyway a typical musical, but would you expect from Tim Burton!

Hilary Swank is an investigator of the paranormal & is sent to a swamp area to investigate when the swamp
is turned into blood. There is a small girl in the town that everyone is afraid of who is believed to be bringing
on the biblical plagues. She sends in a locust plague among many of the others. There is something wrong
with the towns folks, that is a little strange to Swanks character that doesn't seem to fit with the young girl.
She doesn't believe that the girl is causing all the plagues. There is a bit of a twist at the end of the film that
keeps you guessing! It's a pretty decent film that keeps you on your toes & trying to figure it out along with
Hilary!
