CREEPSHOW 3 (R) CREEPY FILM PRODUCTIONS (2006)
Starring: Stephanie Pette, AJ Bowen, Elina Madison, Camille Lacey, Emmet Mcguire & more.
This third installment is done just like the others with five short stories done like comic book stories. The first
story is about "Alice" who is taking over by a remote control. "The Haunted Dog" sees a nasty doctor get a bit
of his own medicine in the end. "Rachel The Call Girl" is about a vicious killer who meets her match in a
vampire john. Two students try to prove to everyone that there is something more than they can see to
"Professor Dayton's Wife". In "The Radio" a security guard is driven to commit acts of murder. This was an ok
addition to this series of films. Most of the stories were a bit slow & didn't hold my interest, but some were
pretty decent. Good for at least one viewing. It's not the same without Stephen King or George Romero.

CUTTING ROOM (PG-13) ANTHEM PICTURES (2006)
Starring: Elizabeth Daily, Mark Elias, Weetus Cren, Richard T. Jones, Jon Polito & more.
This is a comic Horror movie about an independent film company trying to create a big blockbuster serial killer
film. They are trying to get a big action star to play the lead & a huge film company to back the movie. As
people from the film studio come to meet the crew people start getting killed off. They have their offices in an
old building where a violent murder happened. There are rumors that the killer is still at large. The crew keeps
trying to progress with getting the film produced & finished as more & more of them get taken out. There are
some typical campy parts with some typical Horror movie & serial killer stuff, but it has a slight twist in areas
to it. Not one of the best flicks out there, but it was decent enough & was good to see E.G. Daily in another film.

DEVOUR (R) SONY PICTURES (2005)
Starring: Jensen Ackles, Shannyn Sossomon, Dominique Swain, William Sadler, Teach Grant & more.
Jensen Ackles character starts to see premonitions of self mutilation & grisly murders. Jake's unsettling visions
become a reality when him & his friends start playing an online video game called "The Pathway". This game
ask for personal information & plays into the lives of each of it's players who join up. They start to think this
is an actual gateway to Hell & it has unleashed demons that carry out these horrific murders. They join in with
some people who study the occult & try to find away to escape their inevitable ends. Not too of an original
story, but it was a different type of twist on a demons from Hell type story. It reminded me a little of the film
976-EVIL, just done with a online computer game instead of a hotline to Hell. I watched this flick because of
Shannyn Sossamon from (
A KNIGHTS TALE & ONE MISSED CALL) was in it.
DRAG ME TO HELL (PG-13) GHOST HOUSE PICTURES (2009)
Starring: Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Lorna Raver, Dileep Rao, David Paymer & more.
This was the directorial return of the great Sam Raimi to the Horror genre. He is well known for
THE EVIL
DEAD
trilogy & SPIDER-MAN trilogy. A loan agent at a bank is trying to get ahead in the company & starts
making more aggressive decisions. She denies an elderly woman another extension on her loan so she can keep
her home. The woman starts freaking out & curses her as she is pulled from the bank. The woman's life soon
takes a major turn for the worst. She is being stalked by some shadow demons that keep attacking her. She is
the only one who can see the demons so she goes to someone who dabbles in the occult to help her remove the
demons from her life & send them back to Hell. There were some staple Same Raimi type shots & gags in the
film, which was cool, but I was a little let down, because I expected more from a great director.

HIS NAME WAS JASON: 30 YEARS OF FRIDAY THE 13TH (R) ANCHOR BAY (2009)
Starring: Kane Hodder, C.J. Graham, Steve Dash, Tom Savini, Betsy Palmer & more.
This is a very cool documentary that covers the complete history of the
FRIDAY THE 13TH films from the
very first film all the way up to the 2009 remake. Tom Savini the SFX make up artist for a bunch of the films
hosts this journey through Camp Crystal Lake. They take you one by one through each film & there are tons of
interviews with cast members from each flick. They also take you behind the scenes with crew members. There
are in depth interviews with the men behind the mask, The guys who portrayed Jason on film. The documentary
ends with interviews with cast & crew from the new remake that came out earlier this year. This is a must!

Starring: Robert Davi, Robert Z'Dar, Caitlin Dulany, Gretchen Becker, Paul Gleason & more.
The Maniac Cop returns once again from the dead when a female police officer is shot down during a hostage
attempt. This time he returns because he is looking for a female cop to become his low. He is dead, lonely &
pissed off. Anyone who gets in his way will be taken out, whether they are good or bad, he doesn't care. He has
one interests in mind & that is to find himself an undead wife. The zombie cop takes out a lot of people in this
third installment. It's a little bit of a different story, but it still holds up to the other two films. You could watch
this with out seeing the others, but if your going to jump in & watch this series, you should just starts at the
first one so you can get the back story of the
MANIAC COP. Beware the law or you'll be facing this zombie
cop!
PUMPKIN KARVER (R) MANNATEE FILMS (2006)
Starring: Amy Weber, Michael Zara, Minka Kelly, Terrence Evans, Mistie Adams & more.
A brother & sister try to start their lives a new when a Halloween prank tragically turns deadly. They pack up
everything & move to a new community.  Once they are settled their soon catches up with them & returns to
haunt them. They attend a Halloween party on a nearby farm, when things start going strange. A mysterious
killer shows up wearing a pumpkin costumes & wielding a carving knife. The kids start getting killed off one by
one & the brother & sister set out to stop the killer. This film could fall in one of those teen slasher type film
categories. It had a lot of annoying drinking & partying teens that you just couldn't wait to see get killed off. The
story was a little slow, but once people started dying it picked up. Another low budget film to add to the
Slasher genre! Not as cool as Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees, but a decent killer over all!
TOKYO GORE POLICE (R) TOKYO SHOCK (2008)
Eihi Shiina, Itsuji Itao, Yukihide Benny, Jiji Bu, Keisuke Horibe & more.
Just from the title of this film you already know your in for something violent, gory & very cool! That is
exactly what you get. A crazed scientist named Key Man creates a virus that makes humans mutate. It also
makes them go a bit crazy too. A samurai wielding cop named Ruka is brought in to wipe out the mutated
creatures. The problem is that when one of the mutants is attacked, what ever gets cut off mutates into
something a bit more bizarre & gross. They use these mutations to try to wipe out the police force & Ruka, so
they can take over humanity. Ruka soon finds out that she shares a bond with her nemesis that leads back to the
slaying of her father years ago. This is one of the most bizarre & odd Japanese Horror flicks I have ever seen.
There are strange mutations, gore galore & even a little campy comic book type stuff. This is a must for any fan
of Japanese gore! After watching this film you will be telling everyone, cause you won't believe what you've
seen!

ZOMBIE CAMPOUT (UR) LATE TALK PRODUCTIONS (2002)
Starring: Misty Orman, Tiffany Black, John M Davis, Jeremy Schwab, Alecia Peterman & more.
Once they are there & settle down in camp they hear on the radio that there is supposed to be a meteor shower
Bunny & Steve play match makers to their friends Tammy & Trevor & plan a camping get away in the woods.
nearby cemetery they leak radioactive liquid into the ground. The dead bodies start to rise from the ground &
need to eat flesh to satisfy their hunger. They head to the camp ground & start eating all the campers. They each
start turning into zombies themselves. This is a "campy" Horror comedy that kind of plays off of many of the
more famous Horror flicks & Horror clichés. Even though this was a low budget Horror movie, I think the intent
was to make it cheesy & campy, just like it turned out.

ZOMBIE DIARIES (R) DIMENSION EXTREME (2006)
Starring: Russell Jones, Craig Stovin, Jonnie Hurn, James Fisher, Anna Blades & more.
slowly kills them, but then the virus reanimates them & transforms them into flesh eating zombies. The film is
done like a documentary style film that follows a few groups of people trying to escape the virus & the zombies
themselves. A group of film makers escape London to the country side & also a group held up in a farm house
that fend off the zombies as they come closer to eating them. The film is a bit shaky at first, cause your not sure
exactly what is going on, but once the reality of the situation kicks in you are hooked. The way the film was
shot, makes you almost feel as if you are right there with the survivors. Not a whole lot of gore happening, but
there is a lot of intensity & suspense to keep you watching. One of the better Zombie type stories in a while.
