ALDAARON - NOUS REVIENDRONS IMMORTELS
(8 track CD) PARAGON RECORDS
The year 2004 saw the birth of this Black Metal band in an obscure forest in the Alps. "NOUS
REVIENDRONS IMMORTELS" is the bands second release to date. These guys play a very cold
and harsh old school style of Black Metal music. There is a bombardment of aggressive Black Metal
blasts all through out. The majority of the music is faced paced harsh spastic Black with some
slightly atmospheric cold parts blended in. This a great blend brutality & atmosphere. The vocals
top everything off with throaty Black Metal screams & growls. This would be a band that fans of
IMMORTAL, early DISSECTION & HIMINBJORG would want to check out!

ANGST SKVADRON - SWEET POISON
ANGST SKVADRON is a very different sounding Metal band. These guys base most of their
sound in the early 90's Black Metal genre. They add in a lot original sounds with influences of 70's
Progressive Rock and Metal with some Experimental sounds as well. The music has a bit of a
creepy dark space like sound that reminded me of some music that would be in a Science Fiction
Horror flick but smashed together with cold harsh Black Metal. The thick throaty gurgle vocals just
add to the bands unique sound. If you are an open minded Black Metal fan then this would be a
band you need to check out. I loved this disc for all kinds of reasons, but especially for it's original
different sound.

"PATH OV DEATH" is the debut CD release from this Dayton Ohio based band. The band
consists of King Stench from FOUL STENCH & KING STENCH on drums & vocals with his
son Frost on guitar & his daughter Raven on Bass. This band is a bit different from his other bands.
DEATHFINEST meshes together elements of old school Black Metal, Death Metal and Grindcore
to create their massive sound. The music has a bit of a raw low end sound to it that reminds me of a
lot of the underground bands back in the late 80's & early 90's when I first got into the underground
scene. King's vocals are a low end groggy gurgle growl that also mixes the above styles together,
but at times leans more towards a Grindcore growl. The killer STENCH is everywhere!

bands ever, HEATHEN in my hands. These for in the mid 80's and were one of the best and
unfortunately over looked bands of that time. With the resurgence of Thrash Metal these guys
reformed and are going to show people what they missed out on for so many years. This is the first
full length of new material in 20 years. The album has been in the works for 5 years & the long wait
was well worth it. Their technical aggressive all out shredding Thrash Metal style blows many

This is the debut CD release from this Columbian Death Metal band on METALBOLIC
RECORDS. These guys are fast, brutal and aggressive as hell. Planting most of their influences in

Formed in the late 90's & based out of Hawaii, this extreme Metal band has unleashed it's first full
length album. Houston, Texas is now the home for this Metal band. These guys put out an amazing
album with their last release and this one blows that one away. They have an old school Death
Metal and Black Metal crossover style. Mixing in elements of Thrash Metal and Doom Metal helps
round out the bands sound. The vocals are a mid ranged harsh groggy Death growl and Black metal
scream type. These guys have been around for a long time now, but definitely have not gotten the
proper attention they should be. If they keep putting out releases like this then I'm sure they will
become one of the bigger and better known bands in the underground scene!

aggression through out this whole album. The vocals are a mid ranged Death growl style. At times
some of the guitar work has a technical Thrash or Speed Metal element to it. This is one hell of a
good release. Fans of old school great like OBITUARY, DEATH, GRAVE, GORGUTS,
IMMOLATION, DISMEMBER & MORBID ANGEL will love these guys!!!

These guys have been really building a name for themselves in their home town. After one listen to
this release it will definitely spread far and wide. They base their foundation firmly in the Metal
genre, but add onto it with many forms of Metal. There is a very cool Groove Metal vibe all
through out their songs. Adding in technical strong Thrash Metal riffs & well written Power
Progressive Metal. They even add in a little bit of Modern Metal to round out their sound. The
vocals are a combination of a Thrash Death crossover style with a lot of melodic type vocals. If
you were to combine LAMB OF GOD, LIFE OF AGONY, HATEBREED, CROWBAR,
MACHINE HEAD & TESTAMENT together, you'd get a good taste of this amazing band!

Emerging out of Poland and playing some very extreme Metal comes VEDONIST. These guys,
like most bands have gone through many changes since their start back in 2002. They play a very
aggressive brutal but technical crossover style of Thrash Metal and Black Metal. Their music is
very tight and well structured all through out. I loved the hard hitting lower ended Death Metal
brutality with the faster more technical Thrash Metal. The vocals are a balance right on the line of
both Death and Thrash Metal. If you have never heard of these guys before and your into Death
and Thrash Metal, buy this album. You will be very pleased and will be blasting this album for
years to come. Highly recommended band!
