ANOTHER FAILURE - ANOTHER FAILURE IN THE MAKING
(12 track CD) Self Released
"ANOTHER FAILURE IN THE MAKING" is the debut CD release from Rhode Island's own
ANOTHER FAILURE. These guys come right out of the gate spewing aggressive hate filled music.
They combine a few different influences together to create their sound. They blend together elements
of Thrash Metal, Hardcore & Metalcore. The band has an old school vibe that reminds me of a
bunch of the local bands from the 90's in my old hometown of Philadelphia. There is a really killer
Thrash Metal groove through out the album followed by a Hardcore punch. They add in a few more
modern Metalcore breakdowns, tempo changes and aggression as well. If you were to combine
bands like PRO-PAIN, D.R.I., SICK OF IT ALL, BIOHAZARD & some of the local bands from
Philly like ABOLISH, ORCUS & CRYPTIC WARNING you'd get a close idea of what this great
band sounds like. This is a must have release! Get it now before these guys become huge!

CONQUEST OF STEEL - 7" OF STEEL

I was very happy to find this release in my hands. I have been a big fan of these guys since their
beginning and did an interview with them a few years back. CONQUEST OF STEEL is a band out
of the United Kingdom and these guys have been raising the flag of Metal high for years. They can
fit in the genre of New Wave Of Heavy Metal, but they are much more than that. They add in many
elements of old school Thrash Metal and Traditional Metal as well as some Power Metal. The band
has progressed well beyond their last release. The vocals are a perfect blend of Power, Traditional
and Thrash Metal styles. CONQUEST OF STEEL will definitely lead the way of the old school

EXHUMED are back after almost eight years with a new slab of bloody goodness. The gore soaked
Death Metal freaks have hit us with eleven splatter riffic tracks. These guys have always been
known for delivering the gore and this time around your gonna get your fill. Combing there spastic
riffs with full on Grind chugging beats, along with screeching but technical sounding riffs. The
signature harsh screaming growls are present mixed with some lower ended Death growls. These

METASTASIS - FROM THE SNOW THE EXECUTIONER RISES

PANDEMONIUM - PROMO 2010
(2 track CD) GODZ OV WAR PRODUCTIONS
PANDEMONIUM hails from Poland and was formed back in 1990. The band later changed their
name to DOMAIN in 1995 and then changed it back to PANDEMONIUM in 2004. These guys
have been tearing up the scene with their blend of Black / Death Metal music. The band describes
their sound as Satanic Dark Metal. There is a strong old school Black Metal feel to their music. It's
cold, raw and dark sounding with some almost muddy static Black Metal elements. They also take
elements from brutal mid 90's styled Death Metal, this mostly comes in the more aggressive faster
areas. The vocals mesh together low ended melodic & atmospheric Black Metal vocals with some
mid ranged groggy harsh ones along with thick mid ranged Death growls. This is a very cool two
song promo, but that's also the problem. It's only two songs! It left me craving for more. This came
out in 2010 and it's almost the end of 2011, so I hope these guys put something else out real soon.
I'm gonna have to search out their back catalog now, cause I really liked this a lot! Check it out!

change ups here and there. The vocals are low ended muffled and gurgled Grind type vocals. The
best way to describe this would be Grind Gore smashed together with Noise Core and covered in

SYLVAN REALM started back in 2003 under the name REVERIE and later changed their name in
2009 to SYLVAN REALM. The band now resides in Maryland and plays Black Metal music. The
influences. The music at times goes from rough aggressive and harsh sounding Black Metal into a
more atmospheric almost Dark Gothic Metal vibe. The arrangements of the songs flow perfectly
from one style to the next, instead of a stop or start type change up. The vocals are where I hear
most of the old school Black Metal influences. They are done in a mid ranged throaty and groggy

come a long way since their inception into the Metal scene back in 1999. Starting out as a one man
band with Joel Grind doing all music parts. Now as a full band and many releases deep, the band out
shines more than ever. They still play the Crossover Metal / Punk signature sound they are known
for, but they seem to have perfected it on "CONJURE AND COMMAND". There is a strong
Thrash Metal present in their sound, especially the guitar work. The grooved out beats and harsh
vocals is where the Crossover sounds mostly come into play. This time around they have a bit of a
heavier sound, maybe pulling in some Death Metal elements at times. I have always loved this band
and await each new release, but this time they have really out done themselves. I used to trade music
with Joel back in the early days & even distributed one of his releases on my distribution label. I am
really glad to see these guys finally getting the attention the much deserved. I've seen TOXIC
HOLOCAUST live a few times and I strongly encourage anyone who likes this band, to fully enjoy
